Hi, Doug,
A word from the Lord:
"The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the
simple." Psalm 19:7 (KJV)
What is the best Health Insurance? How much does it
cost? Where do you get it? We'll try to answer those
questions in our April issue. Please stay and read it. It
may save your life.
| What Does Health Insurance DO? |
 |
Our scripture for this month tells us that when we
heed the Word of God we can make wise decisions
with simple actions. So what is the simple action that
can help us make wise decisions concerning
insurance? Simply speaking, insurance
works like this.
You pay monthly premiums to the insurance
company and the company pays for a portion of your
medical bills in case of illness or trauma. Your
insurance premiums and those of other insurance
carriers pay for MEDICAL bills! That means that
you are paying for medication and hospital care that
the established medical authorities say you need in
order to overcome whatever physical, emotional, or
mental condition you find yourself.
If you have an accident, the money pays for
hospital care, surgery, medication, room, etc. If you
have a major illness it pays for a portion of that long
term care, depending on how much coverage you
have.
This is common knowledge and nothing new. But
realize one thing - very little of this money you pay for
health insurance is going to PREVENT illness or to
EDUCATE you to how to avoid illness. Your insurance
coverage will also be restricted from some of the
practitioners that could help you most like Health
Ministers, Naturopaths, and other educators. Most of
your premiums will pay for doctor visits, drugs,
surgery, radiation, chemo, and hospitalization as
prescribed by standard medical practice for your
particular ailment.
While we want the best care we can get for our
money, we need to realize something. The Center for
Disease Control admits that almost 70% of all
disease can be prevented by lifestyle choices - that is
by diet and exercise. And insurance does not
prevent us from making bad choices. It simply pays for
the mistakes we make and pays for it with our money
and the money of our friends and neighbors.
Americans have the most expensive medical care in
the world and the World Health Organization says that
we are number 17 in effectiveness of that care.
One of the things for which health insurance can truly
be appropriate is for accident or trauma care. In those
cases, surgery and hospitalization are frequently
necessary. But often, we are given drugs that do little
more than deaden our pain and suffering without
promoting healing. There is a better way to health than
depending on health insurance and medical care as
cure-alls. Listen on.

| What Does Health Insurance NOT Do? |
 |
You would think that insurance would insure that you
did not get the effect of a cause. For instance, a life
buoy would be insurance that you would not drown in
the event of being swept overboard. A parachute
would be insurance that you would not impact the
earth at breakneck speeds if the plane went down.
So why doesn't health insurance keep us from
getting sick? That is a GOOD question. One that
should be asked more often. Health insurance does
not help us to avoid disease so why is it called health
insurance? That is another good question. It should
be called disease insurance. And in some cases
health insurance insures that we will be protected
from good health because of the disease care we get.
Have you ever been to visit the heart bypass patient
who is eating a bacon and eggs breakfast that the
doctor and R.D. prescribed? It's like they are insuring
that the patient returns for another operation if he is
lucky. Ridiculous!
So health insurance does not protect us from ill
health. Yes, it may protect us from being financially
wiped out by the monstrous costs of our ineffective
health care. But no, it is not insurance against getting
sick!
|
| What SHOULD Health Insurance Do? |
 |
|
If you have stayed with me thus far, thank you for being
open minded. I realize health insurance is almost like
a god to Americans. Any political candidate that
doesn't address the thirst for subsidized health care is
destined for defeat. If you think that defense spending
is tremendous, know that health care spending is 4.3
times that of national defense, or 16% of GDP (gross
domestic product).
So, what should health insurance pay for? In my
opinion health insurance should insure that we
remain healthy. It should help us to avoid illness. Here
is a list of things health insurance could address.
- Promote nutritional training in medical schools
- Pay for nutritional teaching by approved
practitioners
- Pay for nutritional therapy as well as traditional
therapy
- Pay for trauma care
- Reward patients for opting out of drugs and onto a
healthier diet
- Reward medical doctors for using nutritional
therapy as an alternative to medical therapy
I believe that health care could be drastically cut if
we would address the need for a return to a plant
based diet that has been proven to be the healthiest
diet on earth. That is what health insurance should do
in my opinion. The Hallelujah Diet & Lifestyle is the
best health insurance I know of. Bar none.

| The
Most Effective Health Insurance |
 |
|
What is the best health insurance? I believe it is the
closest thing to the perfect diet that was given to Adam
and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Bible says that
when God created the earth, sun, moon, stars, the
plants and animals and finally man and woman, He
pronounced it "very good". When God calls
something "very good" it means that it is perfect. And
that is just what the original diet of Genesis 1:29-30
was. Perfect! Today we can get very close to that diet
by eating organic fruits and vegetables, nuts and
seeds, and supplementing them with concentrated
fresh carrot and barley juices. Marilyn's
book "Hallelujah Simple Weekly Meal Plans"
can help
you to delicious and healthy meals. The Hallelujah Diet book can increase
your knowledge of how to
insure that you and your family can be protected from
today's degenerative diseases without sacrificing your
nest egg. Try it for 21 days. Go to our web site and

| Price Break on Juicers! |
 |
|
We have lowered our prices on the world famous
Green Star Juicers. Our already low prices have been
brought down so that we can compete with Internet
companies that buy and sell hundreds of these
machines. So if you want the best juicer made for
getting the most nutrition, the longest lasting juice,
and the best tasting juice from fresh produce, look no
farther than the Green Star.
Marilyn and I juice about 15-20 pounds of carrots
per week. With the Green Star you don't have to juice
every day. That's right! Green Star juice keeps in tightly
closed canning jars for 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator.
In my opinion, it is the best juicer for cancer treatment
and the best health insurance you can buy. Call us for
this special low price at 877-200-0862. It is so low we
cannot advertise it on the Internet.

| Whole Grain Home Made Bread |
 |
|
Marilyn and I love to make home made pizzas on
Friday nights. We get out our Nutrimill and grind up
our red wheat berries in a flash. The Nutrimill is a
variable speed mill that can grind grain coarse as
corn meal or as fine as fine flour, and without a big
mess or lots of noise. We then put our fine whole
grain flour into our Zojirushi Bread Machine and set it
for Basic Dough. In about an hour and a half we have
a big ball of perfect whole grain dough, which we
halve and make two large pizza crusts. We bake the
crust at 350 and then begin making our raw pizzas. Be
sure to take advantage of our low prices on both these
great machines by calling us at 877-200-0862 or
going to our web site an ordering online.

| Best Wheat Bread |
 |
This is a great recipe for whole grain bread, especially
if you have a Nutrimill and a Zojirushi bread machine.
In our opinion, the two best and most convenient
machines for making your own whole grain breads
and pastry.
- 1-1/2 cups pure water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1 tablespoon liquid lecithin
Pour all of the above ingredients into your
Zojirushi Bread Machine.
Then add the following dry ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unbleached bread flour
- 3-1/2 cups whole wheat flour (from hard red wheat
berries) from Nutrimill
- 1 tablespoon wheat gluten
- 1/3 cup old fashioned oats
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Celtic Sea Salt
- 1 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon dough enhancer (optional)
After adding the dry ingredients, scoop a small
hole in the top and add 2-1/2 teaspoons of yeast in the
hole. Put the lid down and set for "basic" setting. Set
crust on "light". Bread will be done in 3-1/2 hours. If
you prefer 2 loaves, then set the machine for
the "basic dough" setting. Remove after 1 hour 50
minutes. Flour hands, dump dough onto floured
surface, and cut in half. Form into balls and pat in 2
small loaf pans that have been sprayed with olive oil.
Let rise in a 120-degree oven for 20 minutes only.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. This recipe
is in "Hallelujah Simple Weekly Meal Plans".

The Best Health Insurance |
|
|
|
Health insurance is really expensive. Statistics from
The National Coalition on Heatlh Care show that the
rate of rise in health insurance costs has outgrown
the rate of inflation. "In 2005 health care costs rose
6.9%, double the rate of inflation for that year. In 2006,
health employer premiums increased by 7.7% - two
times the rate of inflation. Retiring elderly couples will
need $200,000 in savings just to pay for the most
basic medical coverage."
So what do we do? This newsletter will make some
important suggestions to you for overcoming this
spiraling rise in health insurance.
