Hi, [first name]. Here is a Word from the Lord today: “He that
handleth a matter wisely shall find good; and whoso
trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.” Proverbs 16:20 KJV
| Carnivorous Vs. Herbivorous Debate |
|
Was man meant to be carnivorous? Did God make us to be meat eaters? Did God make some animals to be herbivorous and some carnivorous? The answers to these questions have immense implications.
Let's take the stand that God made some animals carnivorous and some herbivorous. So what? Here are the” so whats”.
- If God made some animals to be meat eaters, then death entered creation at creation, and God was exaggerating (a kind word for lying) when He said that creation was “very good” (Gen. 1:31), unless you consider making killers a “very good” act.
- If death has always been around and it is “very good” then why does the Bible say in Isaiah 11:6-9 that the perfect kingdom will have no killing?
- If killing is “very good” then why is there no mention of meat eating in Heaven anywhere in the Bible?
If killing is “very good” then why doesn’t God mention meat in the blessings He would bring upon Israel for obedience to Him in Leviticus 26:3-12?
- If killing was around before the Fall of Adam, then that means that sin did not cause death, and the Bible lies when it says “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead”. - I Corinthians 15:21.
- If I believe that killing has always been around, then I fall right in line with Charles Darwin’s belief that death, disease, and suffering over millions of years led up to man’s emergence.

I don’t know about you, but these “If-thens” are enough to convince me to believe that God created the animals and man to eat the plants. And don’t forget about the 30th verse of the Bible which says: “And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.” That’s pretty clear evidence that God meant for mankind and the animals to eat the plants for food.
As for apparent design of some animals for carnivorous function, that can be explained by adaptation to environment and the need to survive, just like when man emerged from the Ark and needed the animals for meat and survival. See Answers In Genesis web site.
Bottom line: God created man and the animals to be plant eaters and one day that perfect plan will be revisited and reinstated. Meanwhile, I’m going back to Plan A, the original diet from the Bible and its contemporary version, The Hallelujah Diet & Lifestyle, taught by George Malkmus and many Health Ministers, including me and my wife, Marilyn. | Protect Yourselves From Cell Phone EMFs |
|
All
cell phones, as well as all electronic devices, emit electromagnetic fields. These EMF’s, or EMR’s, electromagnetic radiation, as they are called, can cause heat buildup and have been linked to pain in the ear area, low energy,, and a hot ear when in close proximity to the device. Research shows that with as little as 15 minutes of holding a cell phone to your ear will greatly increase the infrared buildup around the ear and brain. Hallelujah Acres sells BioPro cell chips that stick onto your cell phone and disperse the field, helping shield the user from the EMF’s. Get yours by calling 1-800-915-9355 and using our Pin, ACO. Tell them Doug & Marilyn sent you.

Rabbits know. They love cabbage. And we should too if we know what’s good for us. Cabbage is one of the cruciferous vegetables that helps protect us from cancer, and can even reverse the growth of cancer. In his book, Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients, Dr. Russell Blaylock says that cruciferous vegetables, including cabbage, have a strong antimutagenic effect (protecting from DNA damage). Raw cabbage proves to be stronger than cooked cabbage at protecting DNA. In the book “Eat and Heal”, it is reported that Korean researchers found that eating lots of cabbage decreases your risk of stomach cancer.
It’s great for constipation, too. Just add this crunchy veggie to your salad three times a week and you’ll probably prevent not only constipation but also the problems that come with it like hemorrhoids and diverticular disease. Check out Marilyn’s “Hallelujah Simple Weekly Meal Plans” and use her recipes using cabbage. Order the book at 800-915-9355 and use our PIN. Thanks! |

| Help Us Promote Doug's New Book |

Doug’s new book, “Winning the Battle for the Body”, will be in print in early August. Would you please email us at ddpolk@AlphaOmegaFood.com or call us at 877-200-0862 if you know a connection to a radio station, newspaper, bookstore, health food store, or organization that would let us do an interview, article, or news release? We will be planning our marketing in the next few days and need to know connections to the outlets that would sell our book.
“Winning the Battle for the Body” faces head-on the issue between the plant based and animal based diets of the Bible. Doug takes a close look at the theological and nutritional questions and builds a strong case for returning to the plant based diet of Genesis 1:29-30. This book is like no other on the market, and it must get out to the multitudes who are dying for lack of knowledge or who have been misled by the culture and even by the clergy. Above all, pray for its success in saving people from certain death.

1 cup Ian’s whole grain bread crumbs (health food store or make your own)
1 cup pecans, chopped fine
½ cup chopped red pepper.
1 small onion, chopped
1 can organic diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano (Hunt’s has a new organic line now. Or you can use 2 cups of diced fresh tomatoes and add1/2 t. basil, 1 bulb garlic minced, and 1/2 t. oregano)
1 can organic tomato paste
¼ t. garlic powder
½ t. Celtic Sea Salt
Mix all ingredients well. Spray a loaf pan with olive oil. Spoon “meat loaf” in pan and pat down. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and top with fruit sweetened ketchup. Bake for 15 more minutes. |
