A Muscular Sclerosis Victory! A few years ago Marilyn and I received a call from a man and wife who wanted to come to our home and learn about The Hallelujah Diet and Lifestyle. We invited them in and sat down and told them all about our lifestyle and diet that brought us health and wellness. The man was a very successful accountant in middle Tennessee and his wife was a delightful lady who was suffering from advanced MS. The Importance of Genesis Is Genesis just a fairy tale or a parable or is it an accurate historical account of the creation of the universe and mankind by God Almighty? That question is foundational in your belief system. Why? Because everything else the Bible says hangs on the trustworthiness of the Genesis account of creation. When the Bible is considered just another book it loses all its authority in society and is just viewed as a religious myth. Ken Ham, the founder of Answers In Genesis, relates in his Creation Magazine that his native country of Australia has gone through a transformation. Back several decades ago the Bible was read in public schools and prayer was common. The great evangelist, Billy Graham, held packed meetings in major cities where thousands accepted Christ as Saviour. But such is not the case any longer. Because of the influence of evolution on the educational systems, there no longer is respect for the Bible in Australia. Recent efforts to hold revival meetings in Australia were met with little success due to apathy. My own son, Dean, went to Australia as a summer missionary this past June-August and verified that the gospel is not taken seriously by even church going folk. If our courts continue to remove all freedom OF religion from our nation and make it free FROM religion, we are all doomed. Pray for our President to appoint conservative judges to turn our nation toward righteousness again. Abortion, euthanasia, pornography, and violence are all symptoms of the disease called EVOLUTION. The Ten Commandments is VITAL to the knowledge of sin. Without the Ten Commandments, and in a cloud of pseudoscience called evolution, the Holy Spirit is hindered in convicting sinners of their need of a Saviour, Jesus Christ. Marilyn's Culinary Class Highlights and Vision I drove 922 miles round trip this past weekend to Hallelujah Acres in Shelby, North Carolina. My dear friend, Mary Lynn, traveled with me and was a tremendous help Friday with the 7-hour food prep and then on Saturday for the 6-hour class. We attended the free monthly How To Eliminate Sickness Seminar by Brother George Malkmus Saturday morning. Although Brother George is almost 72 years old, he never used a note and his message was more powerful, full of life, and convincing than I have ever heard. My class started at 2:00 Saturday afternoon. I presented 14 delicious, nutritious, and easy to prepare dishes. The class of 13 seemed to enjoy each dish, along with the wealth of information I gave them throughout the day. The Lord was with me; I so strongly felt His presence. I didn't get nervous and the timing of each dish was unbelievably on track. I left Hallelujah Acres with a new resolve to stop dreaming and start planning. Unbelievably, Doug had already begun planning for the future before I got home! Doug and I have such a heavy burden to help people do this diet! There are thousands of innocent people out there who are sick and dying, and we so desperately want them to know that there is a way to eliminate sickness without the use of dangerous drugs, surgery, or radiation. We believe God has put in our hearts a burning desire to open the Alpha Omega Food Resource Center in Jackson. We have been working out of our home for over 5 years and we have dreamed of a place strategically-placed where people can come for hope, help, and healing - a beautiful, peaceful Christian atmosphere where we can have individual counseling sessions, "Get Healthy! Stay Balanced" classes, culinary classes, weekend retreats, support group meetings, exercise classes, a store with all of our products, and a fresh vegetable juice bar. After this weekend, our resolve is more firm than ever. No, we don't have the funds, but we have a deep conviction that God placed in our hearts over 6 years ago and it just won't go away! We believe that helping people understand that they don't have to be sick is our calling from the Lord.
