Juicers are masticating juicers, which break up
the cells and fibers of food, forcing its nutritional
value into the juice. We at AlphaOmegaFood.com do not
recommend any juicer with a spinning basket because it
only shreds the food, leaving much of the nutrients in
the pulp. In addition, spinning generates heat, air,
and static electricity which damage live nutritious
enzymes. Marilyn and I have used a Champion Juicer and
highly recommend it. The juice from a Champion will
last almost 48 hours if kept in completely filled and
tightly capped 8-oz. canning jars in the coldest part
of the refrigerator. You can
also freeze your Champion juice and keep the juice for
a week or two. Then thaw and drink it with little
deterioration in taste or nutrition. Champion juicers are extremely
well-made, with a stainless steel shaft, are easy to
clean, run smoothly and quietly and have a three-year
warranty on the motor, a ten year limited warranty on
the juicing parts, and a one year warranty on the
cutter. Many people have used them for years without
problems. American-Made
Champion juicers are not a good choice for
wheat grass juicing, but we recommend
BarleyMax™, a much easier and nutritious
alternative than wheat grass juicing. In addition to
juicing fruits and vegetables, you can make banana ice
cream, baby food, fruit sauces, salsa, nut butters and
